I didn't try the coffee because they only serve full fat fresh milk here. Overall I really like my choice of desserts with my friends here. I know there's beef onion and chicken pies. I couldn't see any savory pies on the menu. I'll definitely come back to devour a whole mini banoffee by myself on naughty days! HeheÄ«ut tbh, there was quite little choices of savory food here. This choice of desserts was a good balance between sweet and slightly sour combination. I like how it's not too sweet and the cake is fluffy. Humble Pie did not disappoint my first try. I've never tried a poppyseed cake before. I wasn't disappointed by this because the balance is really good. Generous amount of banana inside and a crunchy crust under a coat of sweet cream. The interior spots rather simple, down to earth decor while the orange colored grills being the most prominent feature in this place. And guess what, The Humble Pie Co does serve dinner. Guess we arenât ang moh enough to only rely on pies and salads for dinner. Having thought this â Only pies for dinner?â, both gNOMes were adamant in getting substantial food for dinner. Not noticing that Jeqâs usually closes on Tuesdays ( silly us!), we had to settle with The Humble Pie Co instead since we have already arrived in that vicinity. A planned dinner at Jeqâs took a detour instead.
